Music
I am happy to write MIDI music for a range of projects, including those undertaken by first timers. I can also convert them to OGG. My style takes inspiration from LucasArts and movie composers. I can write quirky themes and dynamic (changing) pieces. I have written music for lots of AGS games. A full catalogue of my music can be found at http://www.screen7.co.uk/music/midi and OGG versions/previews on http://www.soundcloud.com/mods1984

You're welcome to PM or email me via my profile, no project is too big or too small, and I mostly work for free!

Music - Oscar Garvin - Orchestral Cinematic/Funky Nintendo

Hello everyone! I am a London based professional composer who wants to do more games, because I love games and I think I've come to terms with the fact that video game music is my calling. I'm learning Wwise at the moment so I can actually implement sound effects for you as well, depending on what engine your game is running. I love Fantasy, and anything cute, 2D stuff too. I can also do dark epic stuff, but what I find most fun is the cute funky nintendo stuff or the big orchestral romantic cinematic stuff. I'm quite inspired by Japanese game music, like the Final Fantasy music (Nobuo Uematsu) or the Studio Ghibli music (Joe Hisaishi). My background as a musician is Jazz, but now I focus more on orchestral music and work as a composer and orchestrator full time in London. Currently working on a medieval fantasy album actually, have a listen!:
Merlin and Arthur by Oscar Garvin - SoundCloud
If you want something more Nintendo-like you can check out this track I wrote for the game Catmouth Island:
Catmouth Island Boogie by Oscar Garvin - SoundCloud
Or this for another game called Fight Friends:
Smack Down Battle Time!! by Oscar Garvin - SoundCloud
And if you're looking for something more dark check this out:
Dystopian Mech Arena by Oscar Garvin - SoundCloud
Anyway, here's a little showreel of a bunch of tracks I've done if you want to get a more general picture:
Game Showreel 2015 by Oscar Garvin - SoundCloud

Feel free to contact me by email (where I'm most available): oscastyle@gmail.com

Hope to hear from you soon, excited to work on some games!!

Music

Howdy folks! I've been a musician for over 10 years and would very much like to try my hand at composing music for video games.

Most of my experience is in funk/fusion/jazz genres, but I can certainly change and adapt to what is needed.

I've been a fan of video games longer than I've been a musician and would be thrilled to somehow merge my passions.

Some examples of my work:
Chiptune music.
Faux Orchestral music.
Stakeout/Heist music.
Scored the music for this GTA V Clip.

My music is free to download and can be found at the following places:
SoundCloud
Bandcamp

I am willing to work for free (depending on what the project demands).

If any of this stuff interests you, I can be contacted through my SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Facebook or via email blind_373@hotmail.com

Hi everyone, I'm eatseverything from Australia,
I wanted to introduce myself and show a sample of my works in order to catch the eye of a project team using AGS.

BACKGROUND
I'm a highly creative person who is passionate to be part of an indie game. I work full-time as an Interactive Designer, however I am also a Graphic Designer, and have studied a Certificate III in Game Development around the Unity Engine, having created 2 prototypes in C#.
Here is a demo Ivanmore
I also have experience in HTML, CSS and basic JS.
I grew up playing just about every point and click worth mentioning and producing something along the lines of Heroines Quest or a Quest for Glory styled game is on my bucket-list.

I WANT TO BE PART OF A FUNCTIONAL PROJECT TEAM
I would like to be an Artist within a project team who are serious enough / crazy enough to want to finish a game together. I believe my style is quite broad and could suit any Point and Click 2D DOS era game.

I don't mind being part of the story creation, or at least a contributor (I have a few game stories I've worked on).

I would ideally like to work with a creative writer/producer who has a trustworthy programmer. We could definitely get something started.

I hope you like my samples, I wish I could have included some sketches.
Please contact me via email as I will be notified straight away, your welcome to leave a comment if its not urgent :)

Hi folks! I'm M.R. Stibbons, professional writer extraordinaire from Greenland.

What I have:
- A dream to revolutionize storytelling in adult-oriented gaming.
- A complete, published novel (the first in an on-going series) of the fantasy / erotica / humor variety, which translates to an RPG / D&D parody story-line gone awry packed full of rather mainstream adult content. Think "Leisure Suit Larry" set in an original fantasy world only much more raunchy.
- Developed characters .
- Basic artwork for visualization / storyboard purposes.

What I'm looking for:
- Individuals and / or a team interested in creating a 2d visual novel / enriched text adventure game based on the said novel.

These may include artists as well as programmers / coders familiar with any sort of platform suitable to the needs of a project like this.

To learn more, feel free to check out my official blog (yes, I sparred no expense when planning my internet presence): stibbonserotica.blogspot.com

If you are interested but still would like to learn more, by all means mail me at: monsieurstibbons@gmail.com

The Stibbons.

Make your characters animations interesting; an intro that really gets the player into the story;
good close ups with different expresions; realistic backgrounds; good character design;
or just a cover illustration for your kickstart proyect...
Whatever it is you need for your game to stand out, you can contact me at messutipablo@gmail.com
PS: Keep in mind I live from making this, so I can only accept paid work.

Hello, I’m Andreas.

Of all the arts, music is most directly connected to our emotions. Without words and explanation, we intuitively relate the beat to our pulse and the key to our mood. Some people therefore consider music as the most universal form of art that can be understood by everyone. Music in games – as in movies – thus shouldn’t be considered just a means to fill the silence. Done well, it is a device of storytelling equal to the visuals or the dialogues, just a little less obvious. Music can tell the story ‘behind the story’, make us feel the emotions that aren’t visible on screen and the screenwriter was prudent enough not to spell out. R-Type and Turrican made Chris Huelsbeck a celebrity overnight and video game music a genre that could be sold on CDs. Listen to Inon Zur’s Fallout soundtracks, and you can literally feel the rust and dust trickling from the notes, instantly gripping what it must be walking the lonely wastelands. Listen to Jeremy Soules Skyrim soundtrack, and you feel the heroic spirit of the Dragonborn and the excitement that discovering the northern lands hold, even though you are still in the loading screen.

I am a composer who likes games and is interested in collaboration. I have seen there are already a lot of talented and professional composers advertising here, many with a formidable portfolio and I hope that my advertisement won’t be considered as rivalry. I think there are many different styles, tastes and purposes, and for people looking for a soundtrack it might be good having many options. I’m trying to work in many styles, but if I had to name two genres then it would be epic orchestral scores and world music. You can hear a small selection at my Soundcloud portfolio:

https://soundcloud.com/ac_composer

An attempt in scoring a short film:

Please note that I have currently to work to finance my studies. I therefore might work a little slower than composers that have the luxury spending 24/7 on music. On the other hand, maybe I am a bit more affordable than the big names. I am very much interested in collaboration. So if you are interested in a music, please contact me and we’ll work something out.

Cheers!

I am game designer from Estonia. My main influences are games from 90's. I design games where story and gameplay are balanced -instead story evolving constantly, story evolves when some big goal is reached and player usually has quite many places to explore at once. My ideas range from fantasy to sci-fi to western and some of my designs involve interwinding stories that directly affect gameplay. Gameplay in my games may switch between one reality and another, player's character may try to reach personal goal at one moment and try to save day in next, or gameplay may even alternate between present and character's memories.

Hi. I'm a musician from Finland and I would love to make music for a game since i'm also a big adventure game fan. I play various instruments (and various genres) and I have a home studio with many different types of instruments including analog and digital synths so I think the scale of sound I can reduce is quite wide and can be tailored to your preferences. :)

Morning!

I'm Wotansp, from Spain. I am here to offer any help I can provide at localizing your game into spanish.
I am a professional translator with (luckily) some spare time, and as a big fan of adventure games, and somebody who grew with The Dig, Full Throttle and so on... I'd help gladly.

I can also help with writing the story, or creating characters. I'm my free time I've written a lot of short fiction and I am finishing my first novel.
My fav genres are historical fiction, thrillers and overall, dystopias.

Take into account, if you are a small dev or a very little indie dev team, I won't charge for any help.

Just send me an e-mail if you need that your game needs a touch of magic (non-tech, I can barely go beyond a printf hello world)

Having just finished work on Neofeud, I am now looking to future projects to work on.

I did all of the story writing, programming, artwork, animation, almost all of the music, and voice acting for the main characters in Neofeud.  Here are some samples of my work below:

Music for Champions
Looking for some interesting opportunities to compose music for. I started creating stuff twelve years ago after being inspired by the music in the King's Quest II remake by AGD Interactive, so needless to say adventure gaming is an essential element in my work.

Anyway, my name is Jon Babb and I mostly create orchestral pieces. The examples posted below are more dramatic and stand out, but I can make subtle background pieces as well:

Soul Strings
Lady of the Light
The Journey Home
The Graceful Maiden
As My Heart Beats

Please, if you have a project that you are working on and you need music then just send me a message or email me at: music@jonbabb.com
I am always open to any project, so just ask!

Hi there! I create music using acoustic, orchestral and world instruments, various keyboards, synths, found sound, chopped and transformed vocal and percussion samples and sometimes all of the above. I play several instruments and have a degree in Music Technology, and in my spare time I also develop my own games, which gives me a helpful insight into your end of the process. Above all else I love to innovate and experiment.

I've created music for over thirty games in many different styles, working with each client to find the perfect sound to meet the tone, atmosphere and story of their game. The cost of my work depends on your needs, but I always keep my prices reasonable as I love being able to work on interesting indie projects. Greetings!

I'd like to present you the new platform where you can acquire licenses for music and sound effects: http://www.sounds4media.com
Every file here is composed/produced/designed and owned by one person. It is a bypass for a corporative system: there are only few terms for using our products and it's definitely easier to make a specific deal with us ;)

Of course feel free to ask if you are in need of some music/sound design services! You can contact us with an e-mail: sounds4media@o2.pl

To keep track with the new content on our site you can also follow us on Facebook. Search for Sounds4media - music and sound effects library or click link: https://www.facebook.com/SOUNDS4MEDIAcom We also post some news, interesting stuff about sound design etc.

Silver Spook Games Wants Your Story

Hi AGSers, I've been putting this out there to the internets and figured I'd give you folks a heads up on it as well, as there are some pretty writerly folks that populate these here woods.

I'm currently looking at potentially working with a writer to turn their story into a game -- most likely a story-heavy adventure game. I've been posting my recently released adventure game, Neofeud, a lot, but here's a link for convenience: https://silverspook.itch.io/neofeud

I was the sole developer (writer, programmer, art, animation, music, etc), and I'm interested in potentially doing something similar, but collaborating with a writer.

If you already have a great story on hand with a cool setting, compelling characters, somewhat original, I'm looking at just kind of converting the existing story into a game format.  My favorite flavors are sci-fi, cyberpunk, post-apoc, and the like, but doesn't have to be that.  Investigative / mystery type stuff tends to work well for adventure games, but doesn't necessarily have to be pigeonholed there either.   Story is King, as they say.

Let me know if anyone is interested, thanks!

Hello there!
My name is Tamara and I've been doing voice over professionally for over 5 years. Credits include ARK, Dragon Ball Super, Shiness, Atelier Firis and more. I work out of my home studio, which is equipped with a double wall booth, CAD GXL2200 Mic, and Preamp. I can be directed live via Skype or Source Connect.

My rate is $200/hr unless you have something like 3 or 5 lines that need to be done, then we can negotiate.

Demos

Additional demos and samples can be heard on my website: http://www.tamararyanvo.com/

My process
If we work together, what I need is a full and completed script. This will help cut down on costs since we won't have to keep re-recording every time there is a script change. I normally record at 44100 kHz 16-bit and deliver .wav files. If you require a different setting, just let me know. I'm also very flexible and can usually record your script within a day or two.

Testimonials
“From the second I heard her audition I knew that Tamara was going to be an outstanding addition to our cast. As the game’s central protagonist Tamara’s work had to be exceptional and she delivered in spades. She was a delight to direct and I’m looking forward to working with her again.”

- Michael Csurics (Brightskull Entertainment Group)

"Tamara did a wonderful job executing on a very unusual set of voice assets. There were no words; only exertions, grunts, yelling and suffering. But even with those primal noises, Tamara was still able to convey the female's brave survivalist character we had envisioned for our project all along."

Hello everyone!

My name is Bryan Davis and I have a love for good games and great music! I work full time as a game composer, and love every minute of it. Music is something special, something magical. Whether we realize it or not, music has a huge impact on our attitudes and emotions. When someone is angry, often times they will listen to music that drives their anger even further. When at peace, many people will turn to soft strings or pianos to drift further into their blissful state. Sometimes, when people are having a bad day, they turn to uplifting and inspiring music to try and bring themselves out of the mire they’ve found themselves in. Our attitudes dictate the music we listen to and, in turn, the music we listen to dictates our emotions.

Emotions, that is the role of music in video games. To create an emotional landscape for the player to dive into. As a composer, it is my job to create that atmosphere. To use my powers of audio manipulation to control the very emotions of every soul that plays your game (I feel so powerful!). Music is my passion, it’s what drives me as I journey through life. Here on this thread I'd like to share some of my music. I do hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you’d like to enlist my musical powers for your worthy cause (Gaming is a very worthy cause!), simply send me a message and tell me about your project. Most of my work is orchestral, but I do have a few chiptunes in my portfolio. If you don't hear what you're looking for, message me anyway. I love trying out new styles and am always looking for a new challenge to tackle! My rates vary depending on the project, but will usually fit any budget. So let's join forces, and together we shall conquer the world! Or…well…at least a small corner of the gaming world. Yes, that, we shall conquer!

Hello,

I've been illustrating for a while now and would love to be involved with game art.  Some of my work is available at NickCanton.com and my instagram @ndcanton, and I can send more over if you reach out.  I'm also interested in applying my skills to styles that I don't have in my portfolio (pixel art, for example) and would be happy to discuss stylistic departures.

Look forward to working together,

Nick

Hi, my name is Eren and I want to help people by testing and translating games to Turkish.
I am unexperienced in both, and don't wait some perfect translation from me, but I believe I can make it ok.

Hi!

I'm looking for paid work, freelance or full-time projects.
I'm mainly interested in pixel art jobs, but can also help out with writing and game design or develop an entire AGS game for you.

I've made three small AGS games myself (Don't Drink the Pink, Scenario 5B and Don't Worry, I'll Bring The Beer!) and graphics for one other (U-ROPA).
Currently I'm working on Kingdom of Ehcilc as a hobby project and occasionally help my brother with Office Management 101.

My monthly living costs are around €300 ($350), so I can afford to work for a very reasonable price.

Here's the pixel portfolio: tulevik.eu/portfolio
And some examples of my work:

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or send an email at business@tulevik.eu

Hi all,

I like to team up with someone (or join a team) in order to make a freeware, non-steam adventure game. I have made two remakes, Black Sect and Gateway and a RON game, Night and Day. And helped out with scripting, puzzles and music for a couple of other games, see my profile for examples.

I specifically enjoy puzzle design and scripting but can also help with story and music.
Style or genre is not really important to me, as long as we're going to make the most of it.

Let me know (pm) if you have any questions.
Thanks :)

Hi, My name is Nikky. I'm a 31 year old 2D graphic designer (vector) with years of experience, available full time for freelance work. I also had experience on making my own games for 2 years. I can do characters, items, animations, backgrounds, re-skinning, UI design, game cover, icons, logos, and any other kind of 2D art assets. My rate at the moment is $14 per hour, I can also work with a fixed price (with an asset list and a request art style). Well, I usually make deal on a fixed price after estimating the cost to the clients. Or maybe if you have some kind of budget for the art work, we can start negotiate from that.

I work fast, understand deadline, work on weekends and holidays, understand time zone deference, I don't sleep to much anyway, prefer Paypal for safe payments, not interested in profit sharing, or free works. I'm full-time freelance so my focus is on this.

I can do most Graphic Art style (vector base). I usually do a test run of one or two of the clients request assets (usually clients also has a request type of style) to make sure the style, design, coolness, cuteness, etc fits them, no need to pay if the test run result doesn't fit you. But if it does, then lets do more actions!

Feel free for asking me the estimate of the cost, it maybe cheaper then you think it is.
You can email me at oryzano@gmail.com

You can see some of my portfolio for many games here : https://imageshack.com/a/NSMz/1

Guess I should "renew" my offer of services, so to speak.

So yeah, I'm DBoyWheeler.  I'm not much when it comes to art or music.  But when it comes to storywriting, I'm quite good.

The services I can offer:
Voice Acting: I sound kind of monotone if I'm not talking directly to another person, but I can sure try.  Maybe play as a character who has kind of a neutral personality (but can still help the protagonist with some info), or maybe a scientist/geek type.

Proofreading: I can proofread dialogues and stuff, and make sure that the text follows proper spelling and grammar.

Story Design: Sure, I'm glad to discuss story ideas, some suggestions for puzzles, and maybe a few quirks of the characters.

Hi there!

My name is Tormod Garvin, I’m a video game composer and guitarist based in London. I love making strange and whimsical music, as well as dark, sinister and sometimes disturbing music. I do sound effects and foley as well. Recently I’ve been experimenting with quite a wide variety of genres for different projects, and compiled some smaller samples together in a small showreel from the last month. Have a listen and let me know what you think:

https://soundcloud.com/tormod-garvin/bits-and-pieces-feb-2018

Last year I had the joy of being part of a game called “Cattails” that was released last December, where I made a 45 minute soundtrack, which you can hear some sneak-peeks from here:

My name ist tobi weiss and i've been composing for films, trailers and games for  5 years now.

Right now i'm looking for new and exciting game/trailer projects.
My previous project i took part was the ios game "nory's escape", which received the first price at the 2017 Respawn Indie Game Expo (powered by Amazon) in cologne.

I primarily enjoy creating orchestral & maybe slightly hybrid music - but fortunately i was able to get a lot of experiences in a big spectrum of musical genres by working for a lot of people with different wishes.  You're welcome to read more about me and my music at my website .
I attached a link to my showreel on my website. There you are able to see some work i did for short movies, corporate stuff, theatre and games. You also get a big playlist of independant Tracks i composed.
All the tracks in the upper area of the showreel + every track on the soundcloud playlist are independant work. So if you like the Idea of one of those tracks it's possible to use a motiv or the theme of the track as a base for your music.
But of course i'm also looking forward to compose something from scratch based on your ideas.
