So a total of 50-60 euros, about £30. That seems reasonable. Just a little worried because I really don't have any money this year, lol. Ah well. Apparently the fags & the booze aers cheap anyway :)

I'm also interested to know how far we will be from the, or a sea? :)

Pumaman

Helm, do you have a full postal address for the campsite, in case of our luggage being misdirected on the plane?

Helm

I tried calling today and the phone was down. Will try later.

Mods: there'll be a minibus to take us to the sea, so I guess that indirectly answers the question: probably outside walking range. Although they could just mean that the minibus will take us to other locations, and there's sea nearby. We will see I guess.

CJ: I'll ask for the full adress, as well as telling them that we'll be probably renting tents, and how much that will be in extra money, when I can get them on the phone. Hopefully luggage will be where it's intended, though. Even if I had the adress, I don't see airport people travelling 3 hrs or whatever to bring your misplaced luggage to you. I see them calling you to go back and get them from the airport.

As for the luggage, there is only a way (as far as I know) to be sure that you're going to have it at the end of the trip. Hand luggage. I remember that I brought 3 pairs of shoes to Sweden, clothes for going to the pubs, different trousers... All came back in the same position it went.

I wouldn't like to point again that we didn't used our hygiene stuff...  ::)

So, keep it simple. A swimming dress, a pair of plip flops, sport shoes, sport trunks and texans. T-shirts and underwear for changing everyday and a bag with hygiene stuff... and not much more. In fact, my bet is that we'll be in swimming dress all the day, in Petter's style, at the pool.

This came up when I googled for swimming dress:

Are you sure about this, Farlander? :P

Damn! I can't remember the English name for the "male bikini"... Excuses!Ã,  >:(

(but I think it's not that, Chrille...)

Swimming wear?  ???

Male bikini? Farl, just stop digging  ;)

"Trunks" is the word that you are searching for, my friend...

He, the "male bikini" invention was just something for having a little of fun... :)

Yeah, I bet you get up to a lot of fun when you wear your male bikini... :o

in light of this, this year's mittens will have a dress code: Male bikini mandatory. Even on the girls.

Aww, and I was going to bring my swimming dress :'(

I think it should have been more funny if the male bikini was not compulsory to girls, but since the only girls are Lore and Dominika, I think I'll leave it this way...

Because you're not coming, correct Dart?

Whoohoo! I have made it to London ^_^. Just about a day and a half now (first day spent with Iqu!!1), and already my long overdue international apearance has involved several interesting/irrational happenstances, including but not limited to getting lost in the wee hours miles from my accomodations, sidewalk peeing (was an emergency!), and other miscellaneous buffoonery . Full details for you mitteny people in a few days.

Also, glad to know my fellow campers are interested in playingÃ,  texas hold'em, but I feel like mofo for mentioning it because I have no chips :(. However, I do have a pack of coloured pencils so we may improvise some chips at the site :D.

m0ds

LOL, you're chilling with Iqu!Ã,  :o

OH, and, it would be really nice if everyone who is coming could perhaps donate a super-quiz prize? I'm bringing some original FoY sketches to be won. Plus a point & click adventure I don't ever really want to play! Yay! :P

edmundito

Falander, we usually call em speedos... who knows what the real name for traje 'e baño in English is.

Grundislav

You mean "bathing suit"?  Swimming trunks? I will be bringing swimming trunks, as in the shorts, 'cause I don't own a speedo.  I'm one of those uptight North Americans who ain't wearing a banana hammock.

Anyhoo, I am also packing lightly, and I second Farlander's suggestion to just bring a few changes of clothes.  We're all gonna be half naked all day anyway.  :-*

Nacho

We're packing... We're finally bringing a tent, Lore's parents have a new one, I've seen it and the packet is tiny.

If the company loses it, well, the most important items are the things we're going to have in the hand luggage...

It's for 3, 5 guys, so, as we're very tiny, I could invite Goldmundo and Wife too, but he's gotta cut his nails and smoke outside...

My question is... what are we going to do when we're in the Airport? MY intention is to wait for Petteri, but the brits will arrive many ours before than us and Pett, I would go to Athens if I were them. Shall we set a meeting point at the airport? Maybe the 15th at the morning?

Excuses if that's been told and I missed it.

I think we were just planning on sleeping overnight in the airport

Pet Terry

m0ds, I'll do my best to find something for the quiz! I'd donate my boxed copy of 'Stupid Invaders' as the game is not very good, but the box looks too good in my shelf. :P But I'll keep looking, I must have something I could donate. That, or I'll end up buying some knick knacks at the airport.

I too am packing as lightly as possible, but I cannot fit everything into my hand luggage so I'll be taking a huge bag with me (and it'll probably be half empty, so big it is!) But just to make sure, I'll try pack the most important things into hand luggage, like swimming shorts, towel...

Should we have a meeting point of some sort in the airport where to meet up when people arrive? Somewhere near baggage reclaim perhaps? Heh, it would help so much if we had like, the map of the airport.

Whoo, not many days left. \o/

Just close your eyes and put a finger in some place in any of the maps of that website... and tell us! :D

*EDIT* Maybe it should be Jet the person in charge to set the meeting point, he'll be the first to arrive on 14th. The local and the Yankee traveller just go there.Ã,  :D
