The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

The story is about a guy named Jimmy who, shortly after coming back from a mundane day at work, finds out about a special screening of a movie he's been dying to see at his local theater that will also have the director appearing. However, the journey to get there isn't as easy as he thought it'd be.

AGS Panel Review

"Shows promise, but needs some work. Adding music and sound would help, and a few bugs, one of which crashed the game, need attention."

1 people commented on this game (newest first):

Jimmy looks like a nice chum. However, I found the puzzles formulaic. I think that could be forgiven with some more work in the art department. Some music and sounds could have raised the atmosphere significantly. I would also appreciate more complex dialogs; as they stand they feel uninspired.

I hope the author will become more daring in future games.

I found a minor, but annoying bug: using the tab key to open the inventory crashes the game.
