The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

This game is a technical demo meant to illustrate and, perhaps, teach usage of custom Viewports and Cameras, which were introduced in AGS starting from version 3.5.0. It is made in hopes to raise awareness of this new feature and it's potential practical uses.

This is not a real game with a story, but rather a collection of scenes with very simple gameplay elements.

AGS Panel Review

"The Panel does not rate demos at this time."

3 people commented on this game (newest first):

This is an excellent showcase of AGS camera features that go well beyond simple scrolling. It really increases one's understanding of the possibilities AGS offers for taking camera work to the next level. If you're interested in making games with AGS, definitely give it a look to see some really cool stuff you can do.

Some interesting concepts. The top down arcade shooter could be fun.

The demo shows some possibilities that would be very nice to see in finished games.
