The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"Awesome graphics and world-building. A bit lacking in puzzles in comparison."

Great writing, amazing world building and a great art to accompany makes this a perfect AGS game to play and lose yourself in a different reality. Please do not miss this one!

A slice of life story embedded in huge world building and wonderful graphics. The basic inventory based puzzles serve as a vehicle to progress our mission. The UI is convenient and the end credits scene lovely.
Play this game and dive into the fascinating world of Trappist-1.

The game has an interesting setting and background story that is only made better by the atmospheric colours and artwork.

A short, enjoyable game with a well written story, very nice art, and easy puzzles. I recommend playing it.

A nice little Jam Game with lorenzo's great lineart in a First person perspective makes you convince your girlfriend to stay on planet Trappist and not leave, which is not easy, but also not really hard :)

I recorded a longplay of the game here:

While Breakfast on Trappist-1 offers a romantic storyline and quite a few inventory puzzles, what elevated it for me was the world-building. It represents the kind of grounded science-fiction you don't often see in games, where the setting is familiar enough to immerse you, yet different enough to intrigue you and make you feel like you have been transported to another world. Overall, there was something very pleasantly old-fashioned and novel-like about the whole experience. Strongly recommended!

Quite a sweet little story about finding hope/dreams on a rather bleak planet. Puzzles are quite easy but there is good atmosphere, and lots to talk about to really set the mood.

A gem of a little game. Sensible puzzles, interesting graphical choices, a story which unfolds bit by bit, extremely immersive. Only drawback is that this does not last more!

Moving story. Breathtaking graphics. Quite a bit to do in an interesting sci-fi world. Recommended.
