The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Based on the old "Daleks" game, TAAOSA turns the concept into an arcade game with 20 levels, 5 game speeds, a challenge mode and the ability set the player either as always moving (MUCH trickier!) or with the ability to stop. Every 5th level in Challenge Mode is a BOSS level - instead of hundreds of tiny enemies, just one big enemy!

Unashamedly retro in every aspect, if you want amazing visuals then look elsewhere, but if you want a simple, challenging game that's randomised every time you play it, you might just find this to be your cup of tea.

Controls:- Arrow keys to move- Spacebar to teleport (to a random location)

MAJOR update to the game just released. The main change is that addition of Boss Levels (every 5th level in Challenge Mode) and giving you 5 lives for Challenge Mode instead of just one (but the more lives remaining when you complete the last level, the higher your bonus score).

Manoevre one dot away from the other dots. I've played this type of game before on old home computers. And just like then, I had to have at least five goes.
