About this gameThis is my MAGS entry for June 2016, in which the theme was "Neglected Historical Eras".
My entry is basically the classic old game "Lunar Lander", but turned on its side and where, instead of landing on the moon, you must try to guide Columbus along the historically accurate routes of his four voyages to The New World (plus one bonus fictional fifth voyage at the end.)

I hope players can enjoy the game despite it still being a tad unpolished. The game is fully playable however from beginning to end.
I will be releasing a more polished version in the future.
I feel this game has great potential to be used in classrooms for students studying the voyages of Columbus as I tried to stay as historically accurate as possible to the actual routes travelled (which, in some cases, are not 100% known as navigation was pretty hit-and-miss at the time, but the accepted versions of the routes actually turned out to be very decent for challenging but not impossible gameplay-flow)
