The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"The series improves from game to game with the latest installment reaching a new level of quality.
The graphics are clear and detailed, puzzles are fun and the multiple player characters and various story lines converge smoothly."

Great adventure! It combines funny characters with thriller/space horror. It has lots of surprises: controlling multiple characters, shortcut scenes, some action... Really recommended.

Shamefully I've only just got round to playing this, but wow! The visual presentation is absolutely amazing and sound design is perfect.

Graphics are top, story is very emersive and puzzles have just the right difficulty for me.

Great game, even if you have not played the previous two games (I have yet to, but they are definitely on my to play list!)

Nice clear graphics, perfect puzzle and pacing, and an interesting mix of playable characters.

I always thought that Visitor 2 was one of the best AGS games, but this last Chapter of the Thrilogy is outstanding. I played it slowly and I went deep into it. I loved the characters and the story. The more you play it the more it's fun to play. Recommended.

I absolutely loved the first two instalments and number three certainly doesn't disappoint.
A very clever game that really called on all my reasoning
powers (Involving much talking to myself) to make progress.
Switching between two characters is challenging....but five!
I think that's correct if memory serves.
I got so into the game and attached to the crew that I felt
rather sorry for the poor little cleaning droid when it met its demise. The bit after the credits surprised me and made me smile. The End....Or is it? I do hope not.

First to summarize what I'm about to write: The Visitor 3 is flawless.
I've played the first two parts, still, this part is playable and very enjoyable as a standalone episode. It was so intense I was thinking of ways to solve puzzles in bed for the next morning to try. The more you progress in the game the more it gets interesting. I felt the game was alive and talking back to me, challenging me, bugging and teasing me at times! Every element of an adventure game was used elegantly and boy was that a way to end a trilogy. I'm not sure if this term is correct but the graphics are morbidly cute. Every freakin pixel is in the right place. The backgrounds are so simple and abstract they drove me nuts on how simplicity is everything. After solving a few puzzles you get to set back and catch your breath while watching even more intenser cut scenes. This game is the first adventure game that I can actually see in an arcade or flipper machine one day.

Then there is the music... Problem made me question my ability to write AGS games music, and I have the nerve to call myself a musician and a guitarist, meh. The background music puts you instantly in the mood of the game, which I can't define, is it comedy? horror? cute? WHAT IS IT! I didn't care to bother as long as I'm enjoying it! The sound effects are massive and probably one of the main reasons this could be in an arcade machine.

The story is very well written and the gameplay never gets boring! I don't want to spoil game elements here but the gameplay and the switching between multiple characters is used cleverly and logically.
After finishing this game I was sad it ended, and I really wanted to hug NickyNyce. Thank you Nicky for allowing me to be part of this amazing game

Phenomenal game. This is probably the best game in the Visitor trilogy, so far, in terms of graphics and quality. But, otherwise, each game has an unique story on its own and each is worth playing individually. You do not have to play previous Visitor games to play this one, although I would recommend, that if you have not played any of them, to play the full series from the beginning.

Moss -- the universe's most accidentally lucky field agent -- is back, and with him some new friends! And new enemies -- some of which are playable characters in the game! If you've played the previous games in the series (and if you haven't -- WHY????) and liked them -- you're going to LOVE this one. It's got more of everything. Moss's unique brand of morbid humor! More puzzles -- which can be tricky, but are always fair and logical! A vast area to explore -- and the series' trademark tense atmosphere, with scary noises, jump scares and great music. And last but not least -- more alien madness. Green blood, pink goo and black tentacles!

This game is going to go down in AGS history as one of the classics!

The polish on this game just gleams! There is never a moment where anything feels awkwardly directed AND:

EPIC SPACE SCENES ARE EPIC!!!
