AGS Panel Review
"The Journey Down is a beautifully crafted adventure with a unique character style and a level of polish rarely seen in freeware games, though the sometimes rough animations and overscaling issues (as well as an odd lack of sounds) stand out simply because everything else looks so great. If you can get past a few flaws in the surface and a relatively short play time, The Journey Down will no doubt be a gem to add to your game collection. "

I love the reggae soundtrack, one of the best game ever made with this engine.
Easily one of the best AGS games I've ever played. Reminded me a lot of Grim Fandango, which is a good thing :D
Holy jeez man, good job!
Shorter: Play this game!
My only gripe would be the extreme simplicity of the interface – I was really missing some unique responses for the right mouse click, even if the game is otherwise a pleasure to play and explore.
Storywise the game gets a very good, intriguing start too. Too bad we'll need to wait so long for its climax, but I bet it'll be worth it.
Everything about this game makes sense, the puzzles, the endearing characters, the dialogue. The soundtrack helped in enhancing the tone for the game. I was captivated and played this game to the end, not for a moment did I feel bored or frustrated!
Theo, thank you for integrating Simon D'Souza's work into your game - I've looked him up, he's composed some great music *addicted*

2. The locations in the game, and setting of the scene were lovely. I liked the idea of the way the city was structured, and also "the edge" and its ominous feel.
I am speechless
