The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

Apart from one pixel hunting moment in the rebirth both parts were engaging, atmospheric and immersive with great visuals.

I NEED MORE! In all seriousness, two wonderful games, so far. I'm desperate to know what happened, what's going to happen and WHY?!

Two great AGS developers at work, so it came as no surprise that both of these games are top-notch. I would really like to see more of how these two stories fit together.

Truly excellent little bites of P+C. The former more-so than the latter was a chilling game, while the latter, The Reaper, had a fine atmosphere in a small area.

Ben's entry was exactly what I've come to love in his games -- grim, visually mesmerizing stories of worlds half familiar, half strange, with somewhat dark, yet sympathetic characters. Grundislav's game begins in a more familiar, contemporary setting -- but the atmosphere is no less haunting, reaching quite unexpected heights of intensity towards the end. Great games, I can't wait to play the games that these two were previews/sneak-peeks of.

Fantastic story and immersion. The atmosphere these two games create is very unsettling and thrilling adding for unique "worlds". The graphics are superb.
Hope to see it continued.

I really enjoyed both of these games and I am looking forward to playing the continuation of both stories.

These 2 games are fantastic on their own, and even better when paired together. Each has a unique plot and dramatic story that culminates in an unsettling ending. Both developers excel at the creation of a meaningful game in a single room.
The art styles of both are wonderful, and a lot of care has been taken to ensure that they are appealing. Francisco's style is fantastic, and the animations are beautiful. Ben's style is outstanding, and often times it's the little things that draw your eye.
That these 2 games are hinting at something bigger to come only makes them more intriguing and encourages multiple plays.

Amazing immersion. These two games draw you into the story's world very effectively with good writing and great graphics. They leave you wanting to see more of this world and the machinations behind the story.

Bug in The Reaper: When you try to use the oily rag on the pipe, it says "I can't use that on the clamp." Which gives away that you need to use the oily rag on the clamp, and the clamp on the pipe.
