AGS Panel Review
"Despite some real trial and error gameplay, rein proves to be a very fun but extremely short game that is over just as you are getting involved in the story."

And Ascovel: best comment ever!
And just like the guy whose feet got ripped is dead
His key doesn't seem to fit
Those rein-drops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'
Err... Sorry about that
This game is far too gripping to be so short. There is a level of intrigue and mystery that will hook you in and make you start asking questions: Who am I? Where am I? What sort of deranged experiments was I conducting? Why is the facility crumbling around me?
Alas, that's exactly where it ends. By the time it gets to the part where things should start to unravel, it stops. It is the adventure game equivalent of a roller coaster that clinks its way up the first hill, only to stop at the summit and have its thrillseekers depart. All that mounting tension for nothing. A real let-down.
I would be more than happy to see more than ten minutes of gameplay from this title. Perhaps this was meant to be a demo for a longer experience. If that's the case, I'm more than ready for the full-length version.
Aside from its brevity, 'rein' is guilty of the greatest of all sins: grammatical inaccuracy. Too many hanging apostrophes and misspellings for me. The AGS forum has loads of proofreaders willing to lend a hand in these matters (myself included), and I wish more developers would take the time to seek them out.
Overall, I would give this game a 3/5 if I could. It's just too bad it stops when the going gets good
So short it feels like the intro to a game but still well worth playing and I look forward to the next installment/game!
I love the animations and sound effects, all fits well together.
Maybe is this the intro of a longer story ?
