About this gameYou are but mere words. Would you speak as with that mask, With what lies underneath? Heatwave is a short story set in the same world as Death Wore Endless Feathers. It takes place in a future California, where Dai Araiguma is playing a VR game in the middle of an abnormally tenacious heatwave. To download a self-extracting EXE, choose the first link. AGS Panel Review
"The graphics and music are fantastic and fit the consistent retro style. In comparison to the complex cyperpunk setting and atmosphere the story and puzzles almost feel a bit trivial. The GUI is innovate but is a bit tricky to use. Apart from that it is a highly enjoyable game."

The puzzles are simple but entertaining, and they get the story moving. The dialogue is good, and the story although short and simplistic, has a nice cyberpunk style, not too removed from reality.
I agree with Peder. For the most part the controls are better than in other adventure games, but the double click (or triple, if the inventory box is still open) is a bit annoying.
