Manuel Cantez thought he had the perfect plan. Allhe had to do was hide the statue until it was safe. But
when a freak storm washed him overboard, all his

But for Debbie Johnson, this was only the beginning,
as she embarks on an amazing adventure to discover the
truth behind Manuel's disappearance. A truth that will

The size of the game is HUGE and the characters are fun and charming. The story feels quite epic as you travel the world in search of the treasure.
The personal journal is a nice feature and saved me from needing a walkthrough most of the time with subtle hints mentioned in it. It cuts down on the "reading the maker's mind" factor quite a lot.
If you have a good chunk of time to kill I recommend this game. It is VERY long!

I hope you all decide to give the game a try.
It is HUGE and with the beautiful design, numerous puzzles, descriptions for pretty much anything, additional animations and the way it's put together, it actually really makes it worth to explore the "350+ rooms". It seems endless and never gets tiresome, there's even an exciting surprise about halfway in the game which adds to the playing variety - which already is great just by visiting so many different locations.
The characters and backgrounds are, of course, taken from 3D art sites/applications but the game designer sure knew how to put things together! The immersion factor is incredible, also due to lovely touches like kids on a playground in the background, delightful easter eggs (Jaws, frog playing ball...). The fact that you get to see some animals far away from where they really live doesn't matter - it's funny and you could even take it seriously and wonder about how those animals got to be there.
One minor flaw: the playing character always walks as though she wears high heels, while she only briefly actually walks on those.
Some puzzles, especially in the beginning, make the character a bit too much of an 'errand girl', and there's a puzzle later in the game which you can only really get through by trial and error/saving and loading, but there are plenty of other puzzles to keep the player challenged.
The story is entertaining. I would have liked to have more background for the main character: she inherited a yacht? What happened to her parents? She never has a wallet on her, but she has a guy driving her boat whenever she wants... where is it all coming from? It's sometimes a bit hard to relate to her, especially earlier in the game.
But I don't really want to complain. I had lots of fun in the many hours spent on this game!
