The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"As fan games go, this one is pretty good. Will appeal mainly to fans of the games revisited in this outing, who will no doubt appreciate the familiar nods and intertextuality. On the downside, it is not possible to do much other than what is necessary to follow the story, including examining the scenery."

This was a good game. I hope that there will be a sequel to this game as is implied at the end.

In this game, you have to travel to the lands of Zak McKracken, Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island to fix a computer virus that has removed the main characters. You walk around in the familiar worlds and have to solve some of the same problems, but in other ways than in the original games.

This game works. It's clearly aimed at players who have played all these games and can appreciate the familiarity and differences of tasks and surroundings. I had great fun with it. And it's huge, spanning the locations of all three games.

It's clearly derivative - that's kind of the point. Another drawback may be that the author's style is to not implement very many responses to each hotspot. The game isn't always easy or fair, and I had to take some peeks at the walkthroughs to make it to the finish line.
