The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

After some distracted flying Santa accidentally drops several presents. Now it's up to you to find and repair them so he can continue his deliveries.
A short point and click adventure featuring hand-drawn art and animation, A Flight To Remember won the December 2021 "Gift Trouble" MAGS competition and was one of two winners of MAGGIES 2021.

This is the "Remastered" version of the game which features additional animation, bug fixes and features that I wanted to add to the original version but couldn't due to time constraints. The original MAGS entry can be found on my itch.io page by following the mirror link. There is also a test version of the game that can be played in a web browser, also found on the itch.io page.

Comments, ratings and feedback very welcome!

This a fun little game to play especially around the Christmas season.

A short, festive game with pleasant graphics, a fun intro sequence, well chosen music, and excellent puzzles.

I was really impressed with this game. The intro was already well made and the rest of the game also does not disappoint. There was a lot of effort put into it.

I can second that I found the puzzles to be fun and on a good dificulty level.

Very good short game. Even though the story is humorous, the puzzles are logical and require some thought. Recommended.

A lovely little Christmas themed game. It's not particularly long, I finished it in less than 15 minutes, but it's well worth every one of them (and for a MAGS game, this is not too short).

Graphics and animations are cute, and especially the opening sequence (even though not heavy on animations) does a great job of setting up the story. It's a simple one, but you do not need more.

The puzzles are logical, not too difficult and not too easy, and there's even a nice little action sequence.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game, if for nothing else, than the nice, warm, holiday feeling.
