The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Step into a horror show.....

Blood red clouds are moving across the sky, blocking out the sun and bringing darkness. What's more, many people have been found dead and they were all found to have puncture marks on their necks and all their blood had been drained!

What is causing such devastation? Could there be a simple explanation or are vampires at work?

Your good friend, Doctor Willis is on hand should you get 'vamped' too many times (Vamped meter included)....

Uses my Slasher Template that includes Left Click Interact and Right Click Look and a Disable active inventory red X button.....

Made for Oct 2020 mag....

Great MAGS entry! The combat system was fun, I appreciated the hospital and instant return to my last combat room every time I died, lol. I liked the axe coming back to me like Thor. :) The blood monster was neat, too. Overall a fun game!

Great story and setting. Graphics are okay, though you could have made him smaller so the library looked bigger. Puzzles were good.
"Battle" scene weren't my favorite and I would have been happier without them.
Finding the garlic was pixel hunt, I knew it had to be there, but I couldn't find it.

Long and very good MAGS game where the player has to investigate to be able to put up a fight against the monsters. This should appeal to fans of Supernatural, Grimm or similar shows. Recommended.

I felt kinda bloodthirsty playing this game. I had to kill so many poor monsters! ;-)

With about 30 minutes of play time, this is a fairly short game, but with a whole lot of locations.

Both puzzles and story are pretty straightforward. The fact that you can get "vamped" has zero gameplay consequences, unfortunately.

All in all, this is a pretty good game with a well established atmosphere. I only found the main character rather bland (and slow walking). Still, I would recommend this game for its atmosphere.
