Inspired by CaptainD's looking forward to in 2015 thread, I decided to put together a list of adventure games to be released in 2015.

- There are currently two separate list: one for AGS games and other for everything else (maybe a third list for remakes?).
- Most games should be at least of medium length, but short games with good production values and longer development cycles will also find their way in here.
- The list is not complete, I'll keep updating and changing it during the year and marking games that are released.
- If the game is not marked as free, it's either commercial or I didn't find any information regarding its status.

All kinds of information and suggestions are welcome, so if there's a game that needs to be added/removed or you have some insight about something specific, share your opinions in the thread.

If you have a game in the list and wish it to be removed or want to change the links, send me a PM.

CaptainD

Nice idea!  Let's hope some of our planned release dates don't turn out to be too optimistic!

I'm hoping that Viktor, A Steampunk Adventure will be released this year - it looks very cool. 8-)

Stupot

Great thread idea. Why hasn't this been done before?
This should be stickied and kept up to date.

Maybe they could also be marked as freeware or commercial?

CaptainD

Another one for the list:
else Heart.Break()

Oh just one thing - the last AGS game on your list is Zniw not Zwin! :-D

Haggis

I'm going to be foolish and state that 2015 is going to be the year I release this - http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=41089.msg543611#msg543611

I CAN DO IT!

Releasing Sleuth is my goal this year. It's nearly there too! Just waiting on a few collaborators to pull their weight! Hopefully this thread will encourage them. ;)

CaptainD

Oh and the Talkie version of Jack: The Ripper Murders.

And (not really announced) I'm doing a talkie version of Captain Disaster in The Dark Side of the Moon.

Isn't Mage's Initiation an AGS game?
Yeah, you're probably right, it seems that they at least started the devlopment in AGS, although their forum thread hasn't been updated since 2013.

You mean this one? And does talkie version make them both remakes then?

I made a third list for remakes, but I don't really know many, so any help would be useful. I also brought out free games, but most of them are just guesses, if the game is not marked as free, it's either commercial or I didn't find any information about its status.

Thanks for all the contributions so far.

CaptainD

That's the right Jack game.  I don't know if I'd call them remakes... just enhanced versions I guess.

I've been expecting Mage's initiation for a long time. It was supposed to be delivered around February 2014 :embarrassed:

A night in Berry awaits to be proofread so it should be released this year hopefully.

Two more suggestions...

Lumino City

Bertram Fiddle - the iOS version was indeed released in December 2014, but the PC, Mac, Linux and Android versions should be out this month.

Great stuff, CaptainD!

I added Bertram Fiddle under enhancements, I hope it makes sense?
Is Mr Pumpkin Adventure an english version of an older game? Can't find much information about it other than Steam greenlight.

Downfall. (wtf)

Er... don't you have like the entire Midian Design back catalog coming out as what could be described as remastered versions this year? :P

Indeed! Doc Apocalypse, Oz Orwell 1 & 2 (nod) Tales + Downfall... That's a busy enough year tbh :P But maybe even CD (the list says so!) and KI? :=

(wtf)

and CNC_Acolythe's The Lone Planet - free, is another one I can think of.

CaptainD

We seem to have also missed out a rather obvious one (though quite how much it will count as an "adventure" game will vary greatly in people's opinions, I expect!) - the reboot of King's Quest.  I can't find an official website for it yet.

Speaking of KQ, I think the final chapter of The Silver Lining is meant to be coming out this year.

Hobo - I'm afraid I don't know anything about "Mr Pumpkin Adventure" - it was suggested to me by someone else so I found the Greenlight page, but that's all.
