The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

A mysterious advertisement in The Realiser fails to shock the citizens of RON.

Is Elandra Desmond the only one that sees the danger facing Reality-on-the-Norm, or do the townspeople have their own agenda? And how does the disappearance of Davy and Mika connect to it?

A walkthrough is included in the download. 27-12-2011: uploaded version 1.1 It fixes a few errors, adds labels to some of the exits and makes the introduction skippable. 5-1-2012: version 1.2 Improved gameplay following player feedback and added a walkthrough. Saved games from the previous versions are compatible. See the readme for details.

The download link is down I think (unless its a problem at my end)the reality on the norm games site doesn't have a few of the more recent ones this included when I look through its games section too :/(the 3 or so most recent are missing from it I think due to the site being rather neglected)
and as a guy who loves the reality on the norm series I would appreciate being able to download this game and play it :p

Great game, must play. The graphics weren't too great, but I rather have a very enjoyable game than a bad one which looks good. Puzzles were extremely good.
I didn't like the long intro though, can't skip it during restart.
Overall, 7.5 or more out of 10

After a somewhat directionless start the story gains momentum. Accompanied by some clever puzzles and good music this is a satifying gaming experience. Well done!

A very fun little game that feels like it was pulled from the golden age of RON. A remarkable first effort from a new game maker.
