The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

10 people commented on this game (newest first):

A superb game. The world is simple enough to get an immediate grasp of it (and characters are cleverly introduced), it is really remarkable for a game which can be completed in less than 10 minutes.
But what's really outstanding of this production is gameplay: it's very innovative, but withouth feeling "overwhelming" or "forced" to the player.
Put it on your list!

This game is interesting for a One-Room Game. Plus with all the characters and their personalities, it makes this game more enjoyable.

Very enjoyable for a short game. I'd like to see more like this.

This was a really good game, very original. The characters are all very unique with different personalities, and the limitation in control made the puzzles easy yet fitting and enjoyable. I wouldn't have liked it any other way.
I think this game has opened new doors for adventure games as far as gameplay goes, keep it up!

Great job on this game! It was absolutely superb and original. I think you should make a sequel, or another game with the same style.

I highly recommend this game to others. Although it does take awhile to figure out how the game works, it is well worth your time. :D

Took a while to learn how it worked but absolutely brilliant and original game!

Saturday School is just brilliant. An utterly charming game with little nods to The Breakfast Club, SS is a one screen game in which you begin by controling one kid, Vivi, and must enlist the help of your classmates in order to get out of Saturday school in less than ten minutes so you can go to the beach with your friends.

It takes a while to get used to the concept but once you work out what you\'re doing the game just flies along. The characters, even those who have very little to do or say, all have distinct and amusing personalities and their charm is enhanced by the cute drawings. I would love to see more of these games.

Saturday School is infinitely replayable and an utter delight. I insist you try it now. The best short game I\'ve played since A Friend Indeed.
