The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

The sequel to living nightmare deluxe. James has just finished the journal entry, now 20 years old. You control him as he begins to realize that his nightmares are starting to collide with reality. (With some work this will be made into a trilogy, please excuse the strange cliffhanger ending.)

AGS Panel Review

"An enjoyable if short followup to Living Nightmare, Domithan has improved upon virtually every aspect of the original with more gameplay and a creepier atmosphere that makes you interested in finding out what will happen next."

3 people commented on this game (newest first):

The detailed descriptions of interactions nicely complement the at times simplistic art style, and the sound and visuals effectively create an intense atmosphere. I pretty satisfied after playing this game. It's easy to get through, it's short and sweet, and overall it's a great way to kill 20 minutes.

This game was well done! The voice acting really added to the game as well as the music. The Psychiatrist scene gave me the chills. All in all I cant wait for another game from you.

A great game, apparently quite short, but nevertheless, definitely enjoyable and recommended, whether you played one or not. The immersion is great, the puzzles are right, I played it through, and I barely do that for games. Overall a great game!! Tad short, but leaves great promise for a sequel. Also the music is very nicely done, and fits the game in a great way. The walkcycle animations are great, and overall very smooth.
