About this game
ENGLISH--ITALIAN--FRENCH This game was created in collaboration with an Italian association and is part of a project for schools, where we teach children the importance of respect for animals. The game has some educational content but also has a classic adventure style. In this adventure, we control Orazio, a big friendly cat who, with the help of his friends, must find a way to stop an evil multinational corporation from knocking down the cattery to build a motorway. All in the course of one night, during which Orazio will have to get up to all sorts of tricks to find a solution to the problem. A Cat's Night was the first game developed with Adventure Game Studio nominated for the European Games Awards. It was also the first Italian game to receive a nomination in the "Best European Adventure" category. This game's threads

If you like cats, playfully cute humour and a meaningful story, there's a good chance you'll enjoy this game. Whilst A Cat's Night appears to have been created for children, the writing is good and the story well rounded, making it a game for most audiences. Whilst the writing is good, sometimes it's a little hard to read ie clashing colour choices and a sometimes messy font.
What ultimately brought the rating down for me here were some badly placed hotspots. The cursor lacks a cross-hair and sometimes it's a little difficult to line it up correctly. There is also an area within the game that is at first almost invisible ie the storeroom area. The game also includes some pixel hunts and wacky puzzle solutions but nothing too bad that made me want to quit
The puzzles are fairly straight-forward, but there are enough of them to make this a good thumbs-up adventure and with some nice music making it a good enjoyable game to play
