You die and retry often but it's fine since the game overs are varied, funny, and mostly not punishing. Only one quiz near the end is a real pain in the a** if you don't have a good knowledge of comics heroes and villains.
Neat presentation.
Then I downloaded it to assess it for the AGS awards, and boy, did I see I'd been wrong! Lesson: Don't judge a book by its cover.
I loved playing this game. The graphics and animation are simple but spot on. The music is awesome, and the sound effects are cleverly done (play the game to see what I mean). But best of all, the dialogue is funny and chock-full of outrageous puns and laugh-out-loud lines.
So I've nominated the heck out of it. I hope it gets an award or two - I think it deserves it.
