The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

A short adventure game based in Egypt, featuring a grumpy professor, a disgruntled assistant, a grave robber, A mummy is about to be reanimated, gadgets, technology that definitely doesn't look like the ancient Egyptians made it, and most importantly of all PINK SOCKS. This game will hopefully be expanded at a later date into a much bigger and more polished game. But for now, enjoy what we managed to do in one month! This game is an entry for and also winner of MAGS 11/2013 - Night time. If you haven't got a program that can unzip .7z files, 7-Zip is free from http://www.7-zip.org/

AGS Panel Review

"While the setting and story are interesting and the puzzles logical, the GUI feels a bit clumsy. The music is nice but the graphics vary greatly in quality, from poor to outstanding."

as usual, Mags games rule!

I presume most Mags games are made in a short space of time.

I can always appreciate the hard work and talent that goes into these games, that are put together so quickly.
I enjoy the good ones for that reason.

Some interesting ideas, some really cool backgrounds and effects, but the graphics were very unbalanced in quality. This played a key role in making the immersion level less rich and complete.

Plot is a bit cliché but has some nice ideas here and there; puzzles are far too easy, though.

Recommended for some pleasant 15-20 minutes of play.
