The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Tracey hates her humdrum job at Insurance International, but it turns out there is more going on there than meets the eye. An unknown organisation is plotting a coup that will have catastrophic global consequences, and unless it can be stopped in time, the world will be brought to its knees...

A demo based on narrative, very addictive and intriguing. Really appreciated the graphic style and layout of the rooms, the animations and portraits of the characters are also great. Can not wait to play the full version.

Very short, but very awesome.

Love the credits. Dreamy and innovative. Makes me wonder about the device.

'Tracey' is likable immediately--I mean, haven't we all had horribly boring temp jobs? Even if said jobs weren't intended to be temporary if you get my meaning (ie, it sucks so bad you have to quit for your own sanity).

The intro is a bit long, but it would be easy to trim down and it definitely sets the player up for something mysterious. I don't trust any character who's made an appearance, and that is a very good thing, largely thanks to said intro.

It was a relief that the secret compartment isn't a pixel hunt. That compartment ramped things up nicely as well, because it *really* lets you know that not is all as it seems.

Brilliant music all round, from the techno sort of ambient '90s-flavoured background for the office, to the conversation-with-Sam tune, which has a suave, Blaxploitation flair.

The only things I'd change, and these two items don't depreciate enjoyability, really: 1, I would skim a bit off of the intro (the conversation in shadows); and 2, I'd give the player a bit more control (answering the phone, making tea before prompted, that sort of thing). But not with the hidden chamber; again, that was done flawlessly. No pixel hunting.

Crisp graphics and nice detail in the sprites. I reckon these might change before the final game but they look really good as is.

Anyway, wonderful fun. Cool cat at the end, too. Looks like there really is something afoot... So please still be working on the full game. Please. I want to know what's up! :-

This is a pretty cool little demo that makes me look forward to the full game.
